China Center for Economic Studies (CCES) was established in February 2000. Having published a large number of papers on top national and international journals, it becomes one of the best institutions of economic research in China, expertizing in contemporary Chinese economy, economics of transition and development, regional and industrial economics.
CCES holds weekly seminars, Biennial International Conference on Transition and Economic Development (TED), numerous occasional public lectures and various symposium classes.It has forged close links with a number of leading research bodies both in Asia, Europe and America. Its stimulating academic atmosphere attracts graduate students and visiting scholars all over China and around the world.
CCES has received research grants and funds from Ministry of Education, National Social Sciences Foundation, and National Natural Sciences Foundation, other governmental agencies and corporations.
